TODAY SATURDAY....

So I wake up from last night's MOSPEADA show. Darlene had to wake up early wich ment me as well. I put some coffee on and I went to go get some breakfast at the local food merchants. I get back and get a call from my beloved ex-band mate Alex telling me him and Izzy are coming by for a visit. I vaccum, take a shower and get ready for the day.I also have a practice with Max and friends at 1pm. So I get out of the shower and i find my cats all hugged up and cozy. I took some photos of all this so enjoy!

GOOD LORD WHAT HAPPENED!

I was reading through Pitchfork and found these live photos of Robert Smith. If he's going for the goth monster that lives under many bed's in Montebello well then, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! I've heard the new Cure song too. It sounds like they returned the favor to The Shout Out Louds because now they sound like them! Wacky....

So i was turned onto this footage from my pals at hauntingmids.com(I wish I knew how to link). It's a vid from 1974(the year I was born) at the Roxy here in LA. There is a live recording of this, I have it, and I think it's just called "Live from the Roxy". At any rate here is the band doing "Montana". A favorite of mine so check it out!

HELLO AGAIN!

So its been a sometime since I posted. I've not had anything to talk about really. A funk if you will, or a just a general lack of motivation has taken a tiny toll on me. Whatev's, so I thought of this question: What are the classic offsets out there? Meaning, Jaguars and Jazzmasters. When you think of Strats you may think SRV's strat or Eric Clapton's(I just threw up in my mouth a bit)black and white strat. Or how about Keith Richards tele. So just off the top of my balding noggin, I thought of and found some Offsets that are classic in my memory.

MINI TOUR REPORT.

So the shows went great! The road was kind to us but the gas to fuel our beast van was not too forgiving. I guess for a little three day'er it was fairly calm. The booze intake wasnt too high(cant say the same for the mid-grade mexican shwag). My favorite night was The Beauty Bar. The place was cool and the people were very friendly. We played with a band called Team Abraham and they're so good! Real nice guys. Check them out on Myspace. The rest of the nights went fine. After our night our night in Oxnard we had breakfast in Merced called The Cinema Cafe. This place has thee best hashbrowns ever!! It was really good. I wish i had my camera at the time. Well we pressed on and finished and made it home. I'll let the pics speak for themselves....

MOSPEADA'S MINI TOUR!

Hello! I haven't posted in awhile. Mainly because I haven't really had time and not much to talk about really. In the past couple of weeks the cappuccino and I have hosted my parents 50th anniversary, played shows with MOSPEADA and I have been able to devise a mini tour May 8-10. We are going to play at the Beauty Bar in San Diego. Then go to Oxnard to play the Experi-mental cafe Friday night, then drive out to Modesto for a show at Banana Joe's. I'm pretty excited because I've never gone on a tour before. I know 3 days is nothing but its still going to be an experience. We have merchandise to sell and but having new people hear us is whats getting me all hot and bothered!
